Agra Woman Trapped in Instagram Cyber Exploitation, Case Filed

A woman from Agra became a victim of cyber exploitation after befriending a stranger on Instagram. The man, identified as Bhupendra Singh Gurjar, allegedly promised to help her get a government job and gradually gained her trust. He would message her regularly, keep her engaged in conversation, and later managed to obtain her objectionable photos and videos.

According to the woman’s complaint, once she stopped talking to him, the accused uploaded her obscene videos on Instagram, where they were viewed by several people. Shocked and distressed, she informed her husband about the incident. When they confronted Bhupendra over phone, he allegedly threatened to shoot her. The victim has also submitted an audio recording of this threat to the police.

Following her complaint, a case has been registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station. The police have started an investigation and are attempting to trace and arrest the accused.

Officers have appealed to the public to stay cautious on social media and avoid sharing personal details or media files with strangers.
